Sasquatch Award

Read the winning and nominated “Sasquatch Award” books, sponsored by the Washington Library Media Association. Each year, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders across the state are invited to vote for their favorites amongst the chapter book nominees.  Vote for your favorites for this year’s contest and view lists of past winners and nominees.

Evergreen Young Adult Book Award

Check out past winners and finalists since 1991.  Young adults throughout Washington State select the winning title and the Washington Young Adults Materials Review Group sponsors this award.  This award is an effort to give teens a voice in deciding the best literature aimed at their age group.  Librarians and teens themselves nominate titles for the nomination list, and the Evergreen Award Nominating Committee selects the 10 finalist titles. Final voting is open to all Washington young adults and occurs in the spring.

American Library Association Book Award winners (YALSA & ALSC winners)
