Answers to "didyaknow...?" trivia

... in last Friday's "didyaknow..?" post, we asked if you could guess which original decor items from the photograph are still in use in the Secretary's office (plus a bonus point for guessing the correct Secretary of State). The items in use are highlighted in the photograph below and include:
  • the French velvet green curtains (purchased from the Fredrick & Nelson store)
  • the State Seal chair
  • the tall winged back chair
  • the Secretary's desk.
Some of you guessed the wall cloth covering. Although it may look like the original, it is from 2004 during the renovation. Today, Secretary Reed's desk has moved since the 1960's , but the four items highlighted in the above photo are still prominently displayed.
