Washington Talking Book & Braille Library asks donors to “GiveBIG” May 2-3

SEATTLE — Washington Talking Book & Braille Library (WTBBL), which provides access to information and reading materials for people who are unable to read standard print, is seeking donations during GiveBIG 2023 May 2-3.

WTBBL’s goal is to raise at least $10,000 to support the library’s new podcasting program, which will offer diverse programming including current and timely stories, connect the community with information and resources, highlight authors and library services, provide updates from partner organizations, and involve patrons and consumers in developing future content.

“WTBBL’s podcasting program affirms our commitment to building a greater a sense of community and providing an enriching experience for the thousands of patrons we are privileged to serve,” said WTBBL Director Danielle Miller. “We are participating in this year’s GiveBIG campaign to offer our generous donors and the public a convenient way to support our innovative programs and services. We invite our fellow Washingtonians to help us further our mission, ‘That All May Read.’”
