NONPROFIT CORPORATIONS: June 13, 2022 - CCFS is being updated to reflect changes to nonprofit corporation laws under RCW 24.03A. Currently, all nonprofit filings will be completed by paper forms while we work to provide online filing options. We are processing documents in the order received and there will be delays. If your documents were recently submitted, please disregard any automated late notices while we work to get all records updated on the website. Paper documents must be received in our office before their due date; once they have been entered into the system the record will reflect accurately. If you have any questions concerning this matter please let us know by using one of the methods available on the Contact Us page.

2022 Nonprofit Law and Process Changes

May 9, 2022

In 2021 the state legislature passed new laws for nonprofit corporations. The new laws went into effect January 1, 2022 and we have changed nonprofit corporation documents to meet the new requirements under RCW 24.03A.
Our office is currently making significant changes to the online filing process for nonprofit corporations. While those changes are being implemented, nonprofit corporation filings will not be available online. Anyone that needs to file nonprofit corporation documents should use paper filing options.
The new nonprofit corporation documents with instructions are available on our website at: The paper forms are processed in the order received, or an expedited option is available for an additional fee. Customers may also bring documents to our Olympia office for same day filing at our front counter.
We recognize this may cause inconvenience for some, and we will continue working to get our full online services available as soon as possible.
Reminder notices will continue to be delivered by email, mail, or both depending on your account settings.
