Duane French presents: Countering the Counterrevolution
March 15, 2017 | Noon | Secretary of State's Office at the Capitol
Legacy Washington welcomes Who Are We? profile subject Duane French to discuss the importance of creating equal opportunities for people with disabilities to aspire to achieving the same hopes, dreams, and aspirations held by people without disabilities. Countering the Counterrevolution – there is a general sense that the revolutionary ideas, and ideals, that fueled passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act are being met by counterrevolutionary forces with other ideas, and ideals. Collectively we will explore how diversity, equality, and inclusion are gifts to be treasured by all people, and not reserved for just a select few.
