In fall 2021, the Washington State Heritage Center Trust became the ALL Foundation of Washington (ALL Foundation). The Washington State Heritage Center Trust was established in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) public charity.

The ALL Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm which supports the programs, collections and missions of the Washington State Archives, Washington State Library, Washington Talking Book & Braille Library, and Legacy Washington.

Donations to the ALL Foundation are tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Service code. The ALL Foundation builds on the work of the Washington State Heritage Center Trust to promote history, community, and preservation statewide, and serves as the fiduciary of funds raised specifically to support these divisions and programs.

Goals of the ALL Foundation

  • fostering a closer connection between libraries and the communities they serve; including the those residing in our State’s institutions and Washingtonians of all ages who are unable to read standard print;
  • enhancing the collection of vital state and government records, oral histories, and biographies; and,
  • providing greater access to educational materials that document and share Washington’s history and legacy.
