Statewide Library Outreach Training Initiative (no longer active)

Discover. Explore. Expierence. LIBRARIES OF WASHINGTON STATE

This is the last year for the Statewide Library Outreach Training Initiative.

Learn from the Pro's: Workshop Offerings
Building relationships to advance your library, an advocacy workshop will again be offered in 4 locations throughout the state. The partnership training is designed to help libraries establish partnerships with key community, civic and business organizations. For dates and locations, view Workshops.

Again this year, in conjunction with the One Book project, the Washington State Library is offering grants to help libraries start or enhance a One Book One Community effort. For information, view Grants.

As a part of each training series, a toolkit of materials, handouts, and examples was developed. There are more opportunities to learn how to develop partners, work with the media, and provide outreach to your community in the toolkit. View the Toolkit.

* The name of this initiative reflects the current focus on outreach activities, training, and partnership building.
