You’ve just landed your dream records and information management job. The head of your agency writes you and your team a blank check to design the agency’s Information Governance program from scratch. The catch? You have one hour to produce a fully formed plan to implement all of Washington State Archives’ 10 Leading Practices. Failure to complete this mission will result in catastrophic budget cuts throughout the entire agency. Are you up to the task? Can you escape this records disaster?

This game-style training will provide participants with a chance to exercise the creative problem solving skills they use every day as records and information managers. They will learn about best practices for records and information management by finding clues and solving puzzles as a team.

Experience level: Prior experience or training in records management is not required however, the session will be most useful for intermediate and experienced records officers wishing to improve their agency’s records and information management program.
