Workshops on Building Partnerships

Join us in February and March 2007 for Partnerships that Work: Building relationships to advance your library, sponsored by the Washington State Library. You'll learn what makes effective partnerships; how to define a successful partnership; how to identify and approach partners; and how to cultivate relationships with your partners.

Break out sessions will include small group sessions on creating effective partnerships in your community , including planning a One Book effort. Examples of One Book materials from around the state will be distributed at the workshop.

The workshops are conducted by Laura K. Lee Dellinger, Executive Vice President and Principal of Metropolitan Group, and library community relations experts with experience in One Book projects.

Library staff must register and attend the daylong workshop in order to gain the full range of experience.
