The Washington State Library creates many publications, including fact sheets, statistics, and reports.
The State Libraryâ€™s Resource Sharing unit is responsible for all activities related to interlibrary lending and borrowing of materials. The State Library uses ILLiad for request management and Odyssey for electronic document delivery. Materials are lent directly to other libraries worldwide. Individuals should request materials through their local library.
Technology services include CIPA, E-Rate application assistance, IT Consulting, connections to the K-20 network, and Gates Foundation grant facilitation.
Library Development staff provide limited consulting in the areas of governance, Washington library law, and library practice. Limited facilitation of the Public Library Association Planning for Results process is also available. The below resources are provided for trustees and anyone interested in organization and governance of libraries.
