After you find an eAudiobook that you want to listen to, follow the process described below to download it. You must be logged in to your account to download it.

SELECTING A DOWNLOAD METHOD

If your library offers NetLibrary Media Center, you see information about it when you visit the NetLibrary website, and you can select one of two download methods for eAudiobooks:

  • One-click Download for using Media Center to listen to eAudiobooks or transfer them to a portable device (including an iPod for eAudiobooks in MP3 format only).
  • Manual Download Options for using Windows Media Player or iTunes (for eAudiobooks in MP3 format only) to listen to eAudiobooks or transfer them to a portable device (including an iPod for eAudiobooks in MP3 format only).

Media Center is recommended for listening to eAudiobooks if your computer meets the installation requirements.

You select One-click Download when you install Media Center on your computer.

You select Manual Download Options if you choose not to install Media Center.

You can change your selected download method at any time. To change it:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click Edit My Account located at the top of the page.
  3. Check or uncheck the Use NetLibrary Media Center box under Download Preference.

Note: If your library does not offer Media Center, you do not see information about it when you visit the NetLibrary website, and you use Manual Download Options and Windows Media Player or iTunes to listen to eAudiobooks or transfer them to a portable device.
