Want to Renew Your Charities Registration Early?
The Secretary of State’s Office notifies registered Charities by regular mail and email 45-60 days before the expiration date of their current registration with the Charities Program. However, a Charitable Organization may renew its registration at any time after the close of the organization’s accounting year, but no later than the deadline noted in the chart below.
The Charitable Organization Registration / Renewal form is available at the Charities Web site at http://www.sos.wa.gov/charities/AllForms.aspx. Certain financial information from the organization’s most recently completed accounting year is required; please have your financial records available for reference.
If you’re uncertain which accounting year to report or have other questions, please contact the Charities Program by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 800-332-4483.
Find the month the organization's accounting year ends.
The annual renewal must be received no later than the deadline.
