IRS Tax Exempt Status Information
Are you applying for 501 (C) tax exempt status with the IRS? If you are, your Articles of Incorporation must contain a specific purpose clause and a dissolution of assets provision. The Charities and Nonprofit Education Program is happy to make presentations to individual organizations and groups. We will present on registration and renewal requirements with the Secretary of State, forming and maintaining a new nonprofit, and when it is required to register as a charity. We will also give a tour of the many educational resources available on our website and through our workshops.
