How can I tell if a class is full?
The registration page will indicate if the class is full or the deadline for registering has passed. If the class is full, you will have the option of adding your name to a waiting list in case of a cancellation.
What should I do if I register and don’t receive a confirmation email?
Please contact the education coordinator by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm that you are registered.
What should I do if I’ve registered for training, but discover later I can’t make it; is there a cancellation policy?
You can certainly send someone in your place, or if you prefer a refund, send an email to the education coordinator, email@example.com at least two days before the event to request a refund.
Is there an option to pre-register and pay at-the-door? If so, how does it work?
Yes, pre-registration is an option. In order for pre-registration to work, you must send the education coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org an email with the name, e-mail address, phone number and organization name of the person(s) you would like to pre-register. We must have at least 48 hours advance notice and off-line registrations are only accepted if space is still available. You will receive an email confirmation either way.
What form of payments do you accept?
If you plan to pay at the door, we accept cash, checks or money orders. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the “Secretary of State.” If you are registering online, we accept credit cards only.
Is it possible to participate in the training without purchasing the lunch?
Yes, if you would like to attend the training, but prefer not to purchase the lunch, do not register online, but contact the education coordinator by email at email@example.com with your name, e-mail address, organization name, and phone number. Please indicate in the email that you will not be purchasing the lunch.
Is there a cut-off date for pre-registration?
Yes, the online system will automatically stop accepting registrations when the cut-off date is reached, or the class if full.
Do you accept drop-ins? If so, can I pay at the door?
Yes, drop-ins are welcome, but there is no guarantee space will be available. However, it’s not uncommon to experience a small amount of no-shows. You can drop in with the understanding that it’s very possible (but not guaranteed) that we will have a seat for you due to no-shows. In that case, you can pay at the door.
Does the Secretary of State provide an interpreter for American Sign Language? If so, how far in advance does one need to be scheduled?
Yes, the Secretary of State’s Office will provide an interpreter for American Sign Language and needs at least 4 weeks advance notice. Please notify the education coordinator by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
