Large Format Document Scanning

Cruse Scanner

Preserve your rare and fragile over-sized documents by having Imaging Services scan them into digital files and produce photo-quality print-outs for daily use.

Imaging Services is proud to be one of a handful of public-agency imaging services in North America to offer the most technologically advanced, large-format scanning of volumes, maps, drawings, plans, posters, paintings, or other over-sized documents.

Our Cruse scanner has advanced large-format imaging capabilities available from no other equipment. Featuring a fixed light source and scan head, coupled with a moving vacuum table, the Cruse scanner provides even illumination across the entire surface of the original, while subjecting it to very little light exposure.

  • We can scan at any resolution between 300ppi and 1100ppi (the smaller the original size the larger resolution), up to a maximum size image of 15,000 x 10,000 pixels.
  • Originals can be as large as 40 x 60 inches, volumes as large as 16 x 24 inches
  • Produces 24 or 48-bit color, 8 or 16-bit grayscale files.
  • Archival microfilm backup to your digital images is available
